David Collings
David started teaching English nearly 20 years ago after gaining a Royal Society of Arts/Cambridge University CELTA teaching qualification. His first postings were in Italy, Lecce then Rome: His stay in Italy involved a lot ‘General English’ and also lots of ‘Business English’ (to members of the National Government and to workers at FIAT, executives from Alenia Marconi, Renault Italia and the Aeronautica Militare Italiana)
After Rome David left Europe for South America, where he lived and worked for four years in a little city called Araxá. Brazil involved teaching lots of different ages and exam groups (Cambridge First/Advanced Certificate/Proficiency) and also more ‘Business English’ at CBMM (Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração).
After four years in Brazil, David returned to Europe, going on to live in Figaró-Montmany in Catalunya, a tiny little village in the Vallès Occidental. While working at language schools in nearby towns such as Mollet del Vallès and Granollers, David extended his experience of Exam and Business English further, before returning to Brighton.
In Brighton and the UK, David has worked for local schools but was unhappy with the way most schools treat their students and teachers and decided to teach independently.
Highly experienced and multi-lingual, with a great depth of experience in Exam teaching, David has been developing his specialist exam syllabus and will be one of our primary online course teachers.
Christopher Stapley
Although being a native Canadian, Chris has lived in Brazil for many years. In addition to Brazil, Chris has lived and worked in Spain and England, while having also travelled extensively throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Originally having studied both History and Political & Cultural Studies at university, Chris would eventually take a diploma in TEFL/TESL, which was his introduction to English language teaching and education. After entering the profession, Chris became a DELTA-qualified teacher, and worked for many years as a registered Cambridge examiner.
Having worked in English language teaching and education for 25 years, as a teacher, teacher-trainer, TEFL/TESL instructor, coordinator, and Director of Studies, Chris has extensive knowledge of a wide range of teaching philosophies and methodologies, and has experience across a wide range of age groups and study purposes. Like others within the teaching group, Chris has worked for many years preparing students for the Cambridge exams.
Chloe Rowlings
With 25 years teaching English, including 15 years as Director of Studies at the European Academy of Great Britain, Chloe is an exceptionally experienced and well qualified instructor.
With a university degree in English and Latin and a Master’s degree in Social Work/Education, Chloe brings a balanced, caring approach to her students and courses.
In the past 10 years, Chloe has worked in Turkey and Spain, specialising in the preparation of all age groups and levels for Cambridge and Trinity exams.
With a background of teaching international business groups, including Masaveu, The Princess of Asturias Foundation and various bodegas in Spain, Chloe brings a wonderful range of experience and knowledge to her students and courses.
Chloe is also one of our approved Cambridge oral examiners and is a vocabulary and grammar consultant for Longman Pearson publishers.
Aaron Cuell
Aaron is a highly experienced professional, with over 12 years’ experience working in senior positions in schools across Europe.
Primarily based in Rome, Aaron has specialised in preparing students for Cambridge English exams. Also during this time, Aaron has worked for Manor Courses International Summer School since 2010 and has been the Director of Studies for the last five summers, managing teams of more than 25 teachers and ensuring the smooth running of their courses, developing unique syllabuses and instilling pride in staff’s delivery of excellence in the classroom.

Andrew Bradshaw
A teacher with over 20 years’ experience all across the globe.
Having held teaching positions in the United Kingdom, Spain, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Norway, Andy is an exceptionally experienced teacher across all ages and levels, with unparalleled experience in Cambridge main suite exams.
During Andy’s professional career he has also been engaged as a teacher of English for Specific Purposes: previous clients include the Turkish Air Force, Pegasus and Turkish airlines. Andy’s experience also includes teaching for Masaveu, The Foundation Princess of Asturias, Berryworld and Hudisa.
Andy has also taught groups from wineries in Spain and agricultural industry groups across Europe and staff from the Russian and Mongolian embassies in Beijing.
We are obviously delighted to have someone of such experience and dedication as a part of our team. We are extremely confident that Andy will match and exceed student expectations in his delivery of courses.
